At Oakleaf Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Battersea Bridge House Hospital.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Manager to the required Company standards.
  • Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping surfaces in work areas, including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and supply closets.
  • Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries.
  • Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary.
  • Emptying bins.
  • Conducting disinfection and deep cleaning.
  • Maintaining a high standard of hygiene.
  • To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents.
  • To comply with COSHH regulations.
  • To adhere to infection control policies at all times.
  • To ensure the correct use of PPE.

About the Service:

Battersea Bridge House Hospital aims to provide a safe, caring, supportive, and therapeutic environment for 21 patients with acute mental health presentations.

We provide a high-quality, safe, and secure environment, offering person-centered care with individualized treatment care plans.

We work closely with locality community and crisis/home treatment teams to ensure a safe and well-coordinated admission and discharge pathway.

Requirements:

  • Someone who has a real passion for cleaning.
  • Ideally 6-months experience of working as a Cleaner.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent organization and housekeeping skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety standards in their industry.
