**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Grasscutter to join our team at Randstad Delivery (GBS) and work with Merthyr Council. As a Grasscutter, you will be responsible for maintaining the council's grassed areas, including cutting, strimming, and litter picking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutting of grass with a rotary mower or ride on mower (dependent on location)
  • Strimming of gardens and grassed areas
  • Litter picking grassed areas before cutting grass
  • Cutting of hedges and pruning when required, taking care and attention
  • Sweeping of paths, leaving the area clean and tidy
  • Cleaning of all tools and equipment after use
  • Take responsibility for your own personal safety and that of your colleagues and others around you

Requirements:

  • Must have a UK driving license
  • Experience using powered tools
  • Hard working with a willingness to learn new skills
  • Self motivated and enjoy working as part of a supportive team
