Job Description

Role: Alarm Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide installation support to internal installation teams, including desk-based and on-site assistance.
  2. Offer service support to third-party contractors, ensuring timely resolution of malfunctions.
  3. Conduct site visits across the UK to address and resolve malfunctions in electronic systems integrated with door sets.

The role reports to the Project Management Team and primarily covers the South and South-West regions.

Requirements


• Strong background in electrical/electronic systems, particularly in low-voltage alarm systems within hospital or healthcare settings. br/>
• Willingness for nationwide travel, including overnight stays and occasional air travel.

Desired Skills
  1. Proficient in measuring AC/DC voltages and cable resistances using a multimeter.
  2. Skilled in replacing electronic devices and power supplies, tracing cables, and identifying open or short circuits.
  3. Familiarity with Fieldview or similar quality control and snagging systems (training provided on the tablet-based reporting system).
  4. IT literate and comfortable with basic Microsoft systems.
  5. Full driving license and understanding of on-site health and safety requirements.
