Job Title: Production Line Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Line Manager to lead a team of 10 on a busy food production line. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring daily start-up checks are completed, machines are set up and ready to start at the beginning of the shift, and work towards the plan provided by the Planning Manager to ensure maximum performance and minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a team of 10 production operatives
* Ensure daily start-up checks are completed and machines are set up and ready to start at the beginning of the shift
* Work towards the plan provided by the Planning Manager to ensure maximum performance and minimum downtime
* Monitor line speed and KPIs, quality checks, and training of production operatives
* Ensure all relevant company procedures are adhered to and all relevant paperwork is kept up to date

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role within food production
* Good communication skills and the ability to problem-solve and lead the team
* Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and excellent attention to detail
