About the Role

The NSPCC is seeking an experienced Child Protection Team Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Child Protection Specialists in delivering evidence-based services to children and families.
  • Provide line management and supervision to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to deliver high-quality services.
  • Work closely with the Safeguarding Quality Assurance Unit to ensure that services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies, including local authorities and healthcare providers.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a child protection or safeguarding role, with a strong understanding of child development and child protection principles.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.
