Wayman Education is seeking a Primary School Teacher to join our team in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. This is an opportunity to work within an Outstanding primary school in East of England. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.

Responsibilities of a Primary School Teacher:

· As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

· Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses

· Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry

· Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.

· Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

Primary School Teacher requirements:

· QTS, PGCE and strong academic record

· Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner

· Passionate about learning

· Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Primary School environment

· Able to communicate your passion to children and parents

· Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
