Production and Engineering Technician - Electronics

We are seeking a skilled Production and Engineering Technician - Electronics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to production and engineering teams, repairing and maintaining electronic radar systems, and assembling prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to production and engineering teams
  • Repair and maintain electronic radar systems
  • Assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies
  • Test and configure radar systems
  • Maintain documentation and change control
  • Design and build prototype test jigs and assemblies
  • Provide drone operator support for trials
  • Support field trials and demonstrations
Requirements:
  • Significant experience working with advanced electrical and electronic devices
  • Strong technical competence with engineering knowledge and awareness of standard electrical lab practices
  • Hands-on practical skills in building, fixing, and modifying electronic and/or electromechanical equipment
  • Highly analytical with a strong focus on details
  • Excellent team player, personable and communicative
  • HNC or higher qualification in electronics or electrical engineering
