Job Title: Plant Operations Engineer

beBee Professionals in Milton Keynes is seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production facilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, identifying potential issues before they become major problems. You will also diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, working closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, working on a variety of equipment and machinery. A degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering is required, as well as previous experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and malfunctions.
  • Ensure all machinery complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
