About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative and reception support to the Oncology Day Unit at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a professional administration and reception service to the unit and its users.

  • Deliver a high-quality administration service, including greeting and admitting patients, booking appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming reception service to patients, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 2 in Customer Service, Business Administration, or ITQ, or equivalent experience.
  • Typing qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment or reception role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including some Saturday shifts and bank holidays.
