Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at NMC Recruitment Ltd.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of plant and machinery to enable the provision of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the work of contract and service engineers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct weekly tests on sterilisers and washers to maintain compliance with CFPP regulations.
- Inform the National Maintenance Manager of any changes in machine cycle profile and resulting maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all machinery is serviced before quarterly and annual validation.
- Maintain spare parts and tools store and advise the National Maintenance Manager on stock level replenishment.
- Carry out PPM weekly maintenance and inspections as scheduled in the plant maintenance schedule.
- Participate in an on-call rota and travel to other sites and locations within the Group as required.
- Contribute to staff development and training initiatives and participate in the Performance Management System.
Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained engineer or equivalent.
- 2 years' experience in engineering within facilities or manufacturing.
- Mechanical or electrical trained/qualified.
