We are looking for experienced Field Service Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanics to join our team at Kemp Recruitment in Andover.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £40,000 + benefits.

Job Overview

This Mobile HGV Technician opportunity has arisen due to increased business levels. As a mobile technician, you will be based from home covering Andover and the surrounding area.

Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles. You will also conduct visual or operational checks to identify worn, dirty, or maladjusted parts.

A key aspect of this role is undertaking thorough inspections of accident-damaged machines and producing accurate reports to enable repair. Additionally, you will work on customer sites with or without workshop facilities available for use.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles is essential.
  • Any previous mobile HGV technician experience would be beneficial.
  • You must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary, plus a range of benefits including a van, fuel card, mobile phone, and paid door-to-door service. All overtime is paid at 1.5 times the standard rate, with plenty of opportunities available.

The pension scheme provides 6% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution. There is also death in service cover and 3 times annual salary payment. On-call payments are included in the package.
