About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our teams in successfully operating and optimizing our platforms. Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate large teams in time-sensitive and demanding operational environments
- Contribute to setting site and regional strategies
- Identify innovative ways to serve customers and conduct business
- Manage team resource levels, prepare and justify budgets, and plan against expected volumes
- Communicate effectively with teams, informing of key business results, continuous improvement initiatives, and important messages regarding process, people, and Health and Safety
- Work closely with support teams to achieve site and operations network targets
- Encourage self-improvement, training, and development of teams to support succession planning
- Champion continuous improvement, guiding teams in delivering initiatives to enhance customer experience
- Challenge and amend performance metrics to deliver improvements to productivity and standards
- Ensure food safety mechanisms protect product quality
- Provide comprehensive handovers to subsequent managers, presenting operating highlights, risks, and opportunities
We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication and numerical skills, experience in leading large and diverse teams in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for developing people. A proven track record of spotting and nurturing talent, as well as experience with computerized warehouse management systems, is highly desirable.
