We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our Capital Delivery Directorate. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting annual planning, forecasting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Support the financial reporting cycle with a critical evaluation lens, including budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles.
- Develop and implement analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs with a view to automation.
- Establish and maintain internal control frameworks to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on all financial reporting matters.
- Respond to ad hoc requests for analytics, providing support to business partners for cost visibility, business case preparation, and investigation into financial performance.
- Monitor external reporting requirements and research accounting issues to drive business efficiencies.
- Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CHAE or equivalent).
- Experience with SAP and planning systems.
- Strong modeling and database skills.
- Financial and analytical experience.
- Competitive salary from £55,000 - £62,500 per annum, depending on experience.
- Annual leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays).
- Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
- Personal Medical Assessments – Open to all once a year.
