About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Lead Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Linux-based solutions using Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling.
  • Mentor junior team members in Linux and automation best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, software developers, and testers to align complex systems to exacting standards.
  • Administer systems, applications, and databases based on Linux operating systems.
  • Automate system deployment, operation, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment, and Administration, with recent roles in Technical or Team Leadership positions.
  • Extensive experience of administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems within large corporate environments.
  • Experience of administering Containerised systems in Docker, OpenShift, and/or Kubernetes.
  • Experience of automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python.
  • Experience of designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IPv4 Networking, including Subnetting, OSPF Routing, VLANs, and VPNs.
