GSE Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Textron. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our GSE equipment. This involves performing routine maintenance tasks, repairing faulty equipment, and providing technical support to customers. If you have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on GSE equipment;
- Repairing faulty equipment and restoring it to optimal working condition;
- Providing technical support to customers and in-house colleagues;
- Communicating effectively with staff at all levels, including senior management;
- Travelling to customer sites to provide on-site support;
- Completing all necessary Company documentation punctually and in accordance with any guidelines or schedules issued (including staff expenses claims, site reports, etc.).
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a service/maintenance position;
- Strong technical knowledge of GSE equipment;
- Clean UK driving licence;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Able to read and understand electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic drawings and diagrams;
- Competent with MS Office, and able to upload and download specialist software;
- Commercial awareness and ability to communicate at all levels regarding technical matters;
- £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
