About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Off To Work. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation in our educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary needs of our students, ensuring that all meals meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Food Budgeting and Inventory Management: Monitor and control the food budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food safety and hygiene policies are adhered to, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Staff Management and Training: Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
About You
  • Culinary Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, team leadership, and kitchen management.
  • Culinary Skills: Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures, with the ability to create innovative and delicious menus.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and suppliers.
  • Passion for Food and Cooking: An innate passion for food and cooking, with a creative and innovative approach to menu creation.
