**Job Title:** Freight Planner
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our team at SER Limited. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of goods across the UK.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Daily Load Planning: Plan and coordinate routes to ensure timely service to customers.
- Driver Communication: Maintain effective communication with drivers to monitor progress and address any on-the-road challenges.
- Customer Coordination: Provide regular updates to customers and handle delivery requirements or adjustments efficiently.
- Compliance: Ensure operations meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.
- Problem Solving: Resolve any day-to-day transport issues that may arise.
**Salary and Benefits:**
- A competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum
- 29 days' holiday including bank holidays
- Company pension scheme
- Job security in a stable organization
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Traffic Planner or similar logistics/transport planning role. Strong knowledge of UK road transport regulations and routes is also essential.
