The Global Financial Investors Consulting (FIC) group is a team that partners with financial investors to support their investment decisions in healthcare/life sciences companies. We offer value-creation partnerships that maximize their return on investment (ROI) and generate significant business pull-through for IQVIA.

As a Principal within Consulting Services, you will take on various roles, focusing on client/project leadership, business development, and firm/operational leadership. Your success will be measured by delivering outstanding client service, building trusted relationships, and taking on larger and more complex projects.

  • Develop business opportunities and deliver projects with high client satisfaction.
  • Lead thought leadership and firm-building initiatives.
  • Contribute to the enhanced awareness of Consulting Services in the marketplace.
  • Mentor, coach, and share subject matter expertise with others.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Private Equity Client Relationship Management and Delivery:
    • Client engagements with financial investors in healthcare/life sciences.
    • Client satisfaction and outstanding deliverables.
  • Team Development/Management:
    • Identifying, recruiting, mentoring/coaching, and retaining top talent.
  • Business Development:
    • Selling complex strategy and operations engagements to top Private Equity and VC firms.
  • Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Strategy Experience:
    • Speaking with Boards, CEOs, COOs, and CFOs about commercial strategy services/solutions.
  • Senior Level Solution Selling:
    • Building relationships, identifying client pain points, and developing custom solutions.
  • International Experience and US Private Equity/VC Network:
    • Crafting client strategies specific to international geography.
  • Working knowledge of Financial Statements & Corporate Finance:
    • Understanding P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow management.
  • Commercial Awareness:
    • Considering the flow of money and resources through an organization.
  • Influencing:
    • Shaping outcomes in the short term while maintaining successful long-term relationships.
  • Innovation:
    • Turning creative ideas into original solutions.
  • Planning and Organizing:
    • Establishing and prioritizing tasks and objectives.
  • Technological Orientation:
    • Comfort and aptitude using technology to reach goals more efficiently.
