Job Description:

We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer - Nuclear to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering nuclear design work on projects for a range of public and private sector clients within the UK.

The role involves preparing detailed technical civil engineering designs, working with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-profile projects, and assisting with the management of project delivery.

A competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career development.

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor Honours Degree and Chartered or near Chartered Engineer (MICE) qualification. You should also have expertise in one or more specific specialist areas relevant to Civil Engineering and good experience of Civil Engineering plant and equipment for application in Civil Engineering Design.

You will be competent in the specification of Civil Engineering work and also the interpretation and application of results. Additionally, you should have a record of successful delivery, including positions influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel in the definition, implementation, and delivery of engineering work packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering nuclear design work on projects for a range of public and private sector clients within the UK.
  • Preparing detailed technical civil engineering designs.
  • Working with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-profile projects.
  • Assisting with the management of project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Qualified with a Bachelor Honours Degree and Chartered or near Chartered Engineer (MICE).
  • Expertise demonstrable in one or more specific specialist areas relevant to Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to prepare design work for a variety of Civil Engineering Design scope, with minimal supervision.
  • Good experience of Civil Engineering plant and equipment for application in Civil Engineering Design.
