Job Title: LGV Container Driver

Turners (Soham) Ltd, the UK's largest privately owned transport company, is seeking a skilled LGV Container Driver to join our team at our Birmingham depot.

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional driver with a valid HGV Class 1 license to work in our container division. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a modern, well-maintained fleet of containers
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Work closely with the planning and training team to ensure smooth operations
  • Develop close working relationships with other drivers and staff members
  • Comply with Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
Requirements
  • Full HGV Class 1 license (1 year preferred)
  • Driver CPC and Tacho Card
  • 35 hours CPC
  • Container experience (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
