About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring Technician to join our team at M & A Doocey, a leading civil engineering and utility contractor operating nationally.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in documenting and verifying the actual construction details of infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring and utilizing job packs, capturing cable routes, and attending to emergency works. You will also be responsible for submitting accurate Aslaid Records to clients within 5 days of installation.

To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software and excellent communication skills. Additionally, you should be able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and complete daily visits by monitoring and utilising job packs received from the client, ensuring works are completed within a timely manner and within the Streetworks SLAs.
  2. Attend jobs and capture cable route by methods shown in the company directive, ensuring completion as per the Company's Streetworks standards, and within the Streetworks SLA's.
  3. Contact civils digging gangs each morning to confirm works are going ahead, to ensure works are completed within a timely manner and within the Streetworks SLAs.
  4. Identify emergency works that will need cable drawings from the Faults Reports sent out each morning, ensuring full and accurate completion, in order for works to be completed efficiently and correctly.
  5. Ensure full and accurate submission of Aslaid Records to our client within 5 days of the installation of works.
