About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, leading and developing a team of retail professionals, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, taking ownership of all aspects of store operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and team performance
  • Monitor and control store expenses, inventory, and stock levels
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail leadership role, with a strong track record of success
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
