Job Title: Duty Manager SPAR Tenbury Wells

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at SPAR Tenbury Wells. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Store Manager in leading and motivating a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of store strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and coach colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Carry out performance management and absence management as required.
  • Take overall responsibility for the store during Duty Manager shifts, ensuring a safe, legal, and high-performing store environment.
  • Assist in the management of cash reconciliations, voids, and refunds, and other management tasks for till colleagues.
  • Be a role model and lead the team to work together to provide an exceptional customer experience, setting us apart from our competitors.
  • Work with colleagues to promote the store by identifying and actioning opportunities to engage with and support the local community.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and processes.
Requirements:
  • Previous management or supervisor experience within a food retail or similar fast-paced operation.
  • Committed to achieving and sustaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Able to plan, organise, and prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
  • Able to take appropriate action and make decisions.
  • Committed to promoting collaborative working.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a positive attitude.
