Senior Electronics Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our Hardware Team at Pod Point, the leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions across the UK.

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing our products and driving future-focused innovation, ensuring manufacturing and compliance standards are met.

The successful applicant should live within a reasonable commuting distance of our London office, located at Gray's Inn Road, London, WC1X 8HB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve metering quality.
  • Design and implement user authentication solutions such as RFID/Near Field Communication.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support to the manufacturing team to ensure highest possible quality and volume output.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electronics engineering, ideally within mains voltage powered electronics systems.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and developing electronic circuits and systems (AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, analogue signal acquisition).
  • Proficiency in navigating multidisciplinary constraints and requirements, with an awareness of mechanical, software, and manufacturing dependencies.
  • A documentation focused mindset, with the ability to provide high-quality outputs supported by great documentation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Compensation: £60,000 - £75,000 per year.
