Pastry Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pastry Chef to join our prestigious team at a Michelin-starred Inn in the heart of Cumbria.

As a valuable member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating exquisite desserts that exceed our guests' expectations. You will work closely with our talented Head Chef and Sous Chef to achieve further goals and push the boundaries of culinary excellence.

The role involves working primarily on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with some flexibility required for special events and holidays.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing learning and development opportunities provided by our client.

In addition, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum and enjoy discounts on food and beverage purchases.

About Our Client

Our client is a renowned Michelin-starred Inn located in the picturesque countryside near Carlisle in Cumbria. The restaurant boasts a strong emphasis on using local produce sourced from local suppliers, and our team is actively pushing for excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-end establishment, preferably with a Michelin or 3 AA Rosette background.

A willingness to live and work in a rural location is essential.
