Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Freight Operations Coordinator to join our team at Red Recruit Ltd. As a Freight Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end import sea freight forwarding operations, ensuring seamless logistics and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and book cargo with shipping lines
  • Manage documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and licenses
  • Handle customs clearances
  • Oversee the collection and delivery process, ensuring shipments reach their final destination
  • Collaborate with a small team, covering all areas of the forwarding process
  • Book freight movements across different transport modes
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide quotes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in end-to-end Import Sea Freight Forwarding operations
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations, commodity codes, and related paperwork
  • Experience with Import and Export customs entries using CDS
  • Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
