We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Hope Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our business impact related projects, working with clients on their sustainability and ESG strategies, policies, and implementation plans.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage sustainability and ESG projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies, impact assessments, and action plans with and for clients, aligning with global frameworks and standards.
- Oversee sustainability reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Lead teams and manage stakeholder groups, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations and workshops for clients, effectively communicating complex sustainability concepts and strategies.
- Participate in industry forums, working groups, and events, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in sustainability and ESG.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental sustainability or related consultancy roles, with a strong understanding of sustainability and ESG principles.
- Proven track record of implementing and measuring successful sustainability and ESG strategies across various sectors, including entertainment, live events, culture, or sport.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet client expectations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues at all levels.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Membership of professional bodies such as IEMA or similar is highly valued.
- Knowledge of global and local environmental legislation and mandatory reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with social value frameworks, such as UK National TOMs or B Corp.
- Ability to drive business development and identify new opportunities, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
