Allegiance Group is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and contracts effectively across a range of commercial and high-end residential projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, contract administration, and financial analysis, with a proven track record of delivering projects within budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts to ensure accurate cost control and financial reporting.
- Provide cost estimates, valuations, and financial reports to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead tender processes, including cost analysis and contract negotiations, to secure the best possible deals for the company.
- Oversee subcontractor payments, variations, and final accounts to ensure compliance with contracts and legal standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and align costs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on commercial and high-end residential projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- Chartered status or working towards RICS/CIOB.
- Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts and UK construction standards.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, CATO).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
