Learning Support Assistant for Students with ASD

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Classic Education. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to a student with Autistic Spectrum Disorder at a school in Bexleyheath.
Responsibilities:
- Support the student's academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with the school's SENCO, teachers, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Create an inclusive environment that promotes positive behavior and emotional well-being.
- Develop a tailored support plan to meet the student's unique needs and requirements.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with vulnerable children, preferably within an educational setting.
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students and colleagues.
- Show patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students with ASD needs.
What We Offer:
This role comes with a competitive salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
