Job Title: Medical Assessor Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assessor Specialist to join our team at PFAS. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face and assessing how their disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities.

With a strong medical background, you will critically analyze information to create accurate and concise reports, providing positive experiences for claimants and colleagues alike. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure quality and productivity targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of claimants' medical conditions and disabilities.
  • Analyze information to create comprehensive reports detailing assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional. This may include nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, or paramedics. You should also possess a broad clinical knowledge and previous experience using computer software, including Microsoft Office.
