About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Designer to join our Creative Services team at DMS. This role will provide an opportunity to lead our motion graphics team and work on high-end designs and animations for world-class marketing campaigns.

As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for creating advanced motion design, 3D and 2D animation, and visual effects for a diverse range of formats and outputs. You will work closely with our Production and Editing team to deliver content for major film studios, indie distributors, and commercial brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise, design, and animate high-end motion graphics content
  • Create motion design, 3D and 2D animation, and visual effects for various formats and outputs
  • Work closely with the Production and Editing team to deliver content for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in all work produced
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to develop and implement creative strategies
  • Manage and mentor junior designers to support their career development

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in motion graphics design, with a strong portfolio featuring a range of motion design, including 2D and 3D examples
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including Trapcode Suite, Colour Keying, Rotoscoping, Mocha for Footage Tracking, and Video Copilot Optical Flares
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Proficiency in C4D
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Knowledge of current AI capabilities to help with workflows and productions: Firefly, Midjourney, Dall-e etc
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
