Administrative Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Administrator to join our Hospices Administration Team.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will provide operational support to the Administration Team Leader, ensuring the smooth and effective running of administrative operations. This role involves maintaining filing and archive systems, updating patient records, and handling incoming correspondence.
This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing and archive systems, ensuring confidentiality and security of documents.
- Update patient records, databases, and systems for effective team communication.
- Handle incoming correspondence daily, distributing and taking appropriate action as needed.
- Provide front-line reception duties as required, delivering high standards of customer care.
- Support with coordination of rotas as required and provide cover for absent team members as directed by the Administration Team Leader.
- Previous experience in a busy office environment in an administrative function.
- Experience in managing and maintaining office systems, including electronic patient information systems.
- Good organizational and planning skills, with excellent keyboard skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
