Structural Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Derby. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and construction of various structures. If you have 3+ years' experience in structural engineering and are passionate about creating safe and efficient designs, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct structural analysis and design calculations for various projects
  2. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
  3. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
  4. Perform site visits to assess structural conditions and provide recommendations
  5. Review and approve construction plans and documents
  6. Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with UK building codes and regulations
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in AutoCAD
  2. In-depth knowledge of structural system design principles
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
  5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
