About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Clays Venues. As a key member of our Bar Team, you will be responsible for producing and serving drinks at high volume in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing drinks to a high standard
  • Committing drink and food specifications to memory
  • Engaging with our products and offering recommendations to guests
  • Executing private and corporate events with precision and attention to detail
  • Delivering uniform drinks as per Clays guidelines
  • Communicating the business and technology to our guests
  • Understanding of our technology and its applications
  • Making incredible recommendations based on your knowledge and training
  • Setting up for service with efficiency and attention to detail
  • Maintaining Health & Safety expectations at all times
  • Cooperating and communicating effectively with floor, host, and kitchen staff in a calm and professional manner
  • Completing the curriculum of the Clayers Academy
  • Being a brand champion and maintaining expectations and delivery at all times

Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in a cocktail bar
  • Excellent knowledge of classic cocktails
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in high-volume bars, preferred but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Always looking for opportunities to improve your knowledge and abilities
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating amazing experiences
  • A keen eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Honest with strong moral principles
  • Take initiative, can solve problems calmly, and work well under pressure

What We Offer
