Role Overview


As a skilled Child Protection Social Worker at Northamptonshire Children's Trust, you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable children and families. This position requires a strong background in providing high-quality care and services to children in care, with a focus on creating meaningful relationships and planning for their future.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide expert social work services to children in care, including those with complex needs and those who are subject to legal proceedings.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that prioritize the child's wellbeing and future prospects.
  • Build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide a seamless and efficient service to children and families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, policies, and best practices in child protection to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements



  • Recognized Social Work qualification (degree/diploma).
  • Strong background in children in care, with a focus on creating positive outcomes.
  • Ability to use evidence-based interventions to effect change with children, young people, and families.
  • Knowledge of immigration processes (desirable).
  • Social Work England Registration and Enhanced DBS Clearance.
