Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Early Childhood Practitioner to join our team at Newhill Primary School Early Learning Centre in Blairgowrie. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assist, and support the provision of high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years.
  • Develop and implement creative and stimulating activities that meet the needs of individual children.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve high-quality learning outcomes.
  • Hold an appropriate qualification, such as SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, or SCQF Level 7 equivalent.
  • Register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting employment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a team situation and contribute to the development of high-quality learning.
  • Flexible approach to working with children aged 2-5 years and their families.
  • Genuine interest in the development of children and their wellbeing.
  • Kindness, sensitivity, respectfulness, and good manners.
  • Respect for confidentiality at all times.
