Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Engineer to join our team in Glasgow or Leuven. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing contract support across our international footprint, managing program execution, and ensuring transparent communication of contract status and requirements to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Streamline the customer support process to reduce support hours and enhance product profitability and mission success.
  • Share the product data pack with customers and assist them, where necessary, with finding technical information and making basic requests.
  • Set up, manage, and update the Product Configuration Document, including ensuring that all internal stakeholders are aligned on the product configuration to be delivered to the customer as part of the contract.
  • Register the contract once it is signed within Simera Sense.
  • Maintain data from customers and contracts to track contract and customer metrics.
  • Participate in commercial forecasting with insight from active contracts.
  • Plan production priorities with the production planning office to ensure that production meets the contract execution timeline.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Honours Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace or Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of Aerospace Systems Engineering experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience in the design, development, and production of satellite systems.
  • Experience with Earth Observation satellite missions.
