Site Manager Job Description
**Job Summary**
FJ Booth Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Site Construction Manager to oversee the effective management of our construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in site construction, effective manpower management, and client-facing meetings.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
* Monitor progress of the build programme and take corrective action as necessary
* Manage equipment, plant, staffing, and sub-contract requirements
* Work with the office to respond to queries from trades and manage recruitment and induction of new employees
**Requirements**
* Relevant qualifications, including SMSTS certificate, full UK driving license, CSCS card, and BTEC diploma or NVQ Level 3 or 4
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a site manager with ability to chair and run meetings
* Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively
* Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
