Tax Manager

iMultiply Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Private Client Tax department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Personal Tax clients, including High Net Worth Individuals, Company Directors, and Non-Domiciles.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tax advisory and tax compliance services to our private client base.
- Support the technical and personal development of the tax team.
- Review complex Tax Returns prepared by other members of the team.
- Manage the delivery of P11D returns for a small portfolio of business clients.
- Manage the firm's CGT on UK Property Returns service.
- Proactively identify opportunities for restructuring clients' tax affairs.
- Provide specialist tax advice to clients, including IHT planning, wealth structuring, succession planning, transactions in securities, choice of business vehicle, and general owner-managed business tax advice.
- Deal with HMRC on tax investigations.
- Work closely with the Tax Partner and act as the first point of contact for private clients.
- Ongoing review of compliance processes within the department, ensuring best practice.
- Manage the department's IT strategy, including ensuring that all software used is fit for purpose, evaluating new products, and driving the firm's MTD offering.
- Attend weekly manager meetings and work with the leadership team on firm-wide projects.
- A high level of technical knowledge and experience with using online technical resources to research and summarize complex issues for partners and clients.
- Genuine enthusiasm for developing relationships with clients and acting as a Trusted Adviser.
- Experience of leading a Private Client Tax team or for Assistant Managers looking to take a step up, experience of leadership at project level or in a particular field of specialism.
- Ability to manage workflow for the department in a busy and demanding environment and to manage and prioritize own workload.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt your style to suit a variety of audiences.
