Job Title: Senior Risk Lawyer

Lipson Lloyd-Jones is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Lawyer to join our team. As a Senior Risk Lawyer, you will play a key role in supporting the Risk & Compliance Partner and the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) in their roles worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Partner and COLP with daily queries regarding the SRA Code, professional standards, and best practice.
  • Regularly update the Professional Standards Manual and Partners' Guide.
  • Draft policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory law.
  • Review and update data protection policies and procedures annually.
  • Update the firm's risk register.
Requirements:
  • England & Wales qualified lawyer with 6-10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • At least three years of legal compliance experience in an international firm.
  • Excellent written legal skills, including drafting and reviewing policies, procedures, and contracts.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant areas of law and procedure.
  • Knowledge of data protection, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption rules.
  • Flexibility to travel to offices within the firm's global network.
