Haematology Biomedical Scientist

We are looking for a skilled Haematology Biomedical Scientist to join our dynamic team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Haematology Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for participating in the efficient handling, processing, and analysis of samples in the laboratory, under supervision.

• This is a Band 6 position that offers the chance to work with innovative technology, including Abbott Alinity HQ Haematology analysers and Immucor Blood Grouping analysers.
• You will be expected to check, keep clean, and maintain laboratory equipment, and undergo appropriate teaching and training as directed.

To succeed in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent in a biological science, acceptable by Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS)/ Health Professions Council (HPC) for Registration. Numerate competence in PC word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, and previous experience in a large busy laboratory are also highly desirable.
