Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art aged care residence in Tamworth, NSW. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their health and wellbeing, and maintaining their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered care to residents, assessing their needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure residents' needs are met
  • Develop and implement care plans that promote residents' independence and autonomy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health and wellbeing topics
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated aged care experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Experience in assessments and developing care plans
  • Ability to create and update care plans to reflect developing needs of residents
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care Funding Instrument
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated well-developed computer and documentation skills
