Key Responsibilities

As a specialist Children's Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and creating personalized intervention plans
  • Delivering occupational therapy sessions to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with families and carers
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding guidelines and promoting a culture of dignity and respect

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should hold:

  • Honored HCPC registration and relevant qualifications in occupational therapy
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance or willingness to undergo
  • Prior experience working with children with learning disabilities
  • Ability to travel within the designated area
