About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in supporting a female client with a spinal cord injury in her home in Marlborough, Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with complex care needs, including transferring, turning in bed, and medical care
  • Operate medical equipment, including tracheostomy and ventilator
  • Administer medication and assist with health care tasks
  • Drive the client's adapted automatic van
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, shopping, and housekeeping
  • Provide social support and accompany the client to social events
Requirements
  • Automatic UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Experience working with complex care needs (desirable)
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and caring
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Mature and responsible attitude
  • Well-presented and polite
