Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Control Inspector to join our team at Line Up Aviation. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and the chance to work on a wide range of commercial and domestic projects.

About the Role

As a Building Control Inspector, you will be responsible for delivering statutory building control functions, including pre-application meetings, plan checking, site inspections, and visits. You will also make decisions on works, applications, notices, and other matters controlled under the Building Act 1984, Building Regulations 2010, and the new Building Safety Regime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver all building control functions and services, including external contract work, growth, and resilience initiatives
  • Liaise with partner agencies and authorities as required to carry out duties and responsibilities
  • Upsell building control services and specialist services, including associated provisions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A HNC, HND, or degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent qualification
  • Certification by the BSRE
  • Experience in building control inspection, general building surveying, or a related field

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary, which we estimate to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from home and travel as needed.
