About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Coordinator to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Senior Technical Coordinator, you will play a key role in the design development process, working closely with our team to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the design process from inception to completion, ensuring that all designs comply with relevant legislation and Vistry Group specifications.
  • Coordinate the work of consultants, statutory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and local authorities.
  • Ensure that all technical aspects of the project are properly coordinated and managed, including health and safety, environmental, and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction, or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience working in a technical coordination role at a residential house builder.
  • Good level of IT literacy, including experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commercially aware and able to make decisions within authority.
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze problems and deliver solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Professional aptitude and appearance at all times.
  • Strives for continuous improvement for the benefit of the company.
  • Driven to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good level of communication skills, with the necessity to liaise with internal staff and external bodies.
  • Be practical and methodical with good analytical skills.
  • Willing to work extra to meet deadlines as and when the business needs require it.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Further education, i.e. CIOB.
  • Principle Designer and associated H&S training/qualifications.
  • CSCS card qualification.
  • Use of Viewpoint drawing management system.
  • Proficient use of Auto Cad & Revit.
  • Asta Programmes.
  • Management of technical fees and services cost to complete.
  • Continued professional development and keeping up to date with changes within the industry.
