We are a leading organisation, and we're looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our digital transformation initiative, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our data architecture and governance frameworks.


About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-based data services and tools, particularly within the Azure ecosystem. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering robust data architecture solutions that support enterprise-wide transformational change.


Main Responsibilities



  • Design and build effective data pipelines and warehousing solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Synapse, ADF, MS SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Azure APIM, and Visual Studio.
  • Collaborate closely with professional teams in DDaT and Business to ensure high-quality results in data governance and modelling.
  • Develop and deliver data architecture solutions that meet business requirements and drive enterprise-wide data transformation at pace.
  • Utilise your expertise in software development and application architecture, including open-source technologies and programming.

Requirements



  • Proven leadership in digital, data, and technology sectors, with substantial experience in enterprise and technical architecture.
  • Strong background in developing and delivering data architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive enterprise-wide data transformation at pace.
  • Proficient with Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex data architecture issues clearly.
  • Innovative approach to solving business and/or operational problems through digital, data, and technology solutions.

The estimated salary for this position is £62,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
