Estimator for Transmission and Distribution Projects

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing detailed, resourced-based estimates to evaluate design changes, maintain the baseline cost, and challenge contractors' estimates.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Transmission and Distribution estimating and experience working on high-profile electrical engineering projects. You will be working as part of the client's Estimating function, producing estimates without management or supervision, and will be an active member in developing and driving an Estimating Hub in the region.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high standard of qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying, as well as relevant experience in construction projects. You will also have a good understanding of project management, planning, risk, and investment processes.

- Production of accurate and comprehensive estimates for projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Control and management of the estimating process at project level.
- Production of estimates without management or supervision.
- Supporting development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.
- Active member in developing and driving an Estimating Hub in the region.
