Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Execute complex and skilled tasks to ensure the efficient operation and preventative maintenance of production equipment.
  2. Take ownership of smaller projects, applying mechanical expertise to diagnose and repair issues across various systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic components of production machinery.
  3. Perform a variety of tasks to assist in the daily repair and preventative maintenance of the physical plant and expansion projects.
  4. Liaise with contractors as required and assist in the development of planned and preventative maintenance.
  5. Follow all site safety and quality systems, operating procedures, and rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  1. HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (essential).
  2. HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
  3. Good proven diagnostic skills in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  4. Competent in interpreting routers, blueprints, sketches, diagrams, operating instructions, manuals, specifications, and correspondence.
  5. Reliable, flexible, and self-motivated.
