Azure Data Engineer Opportunity

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our client's team in Derby. As a key member of the digital team, you will play a crucial role in delivering and developing the organisation's digital portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, ensuring high-quality data for analytics workloads
  • Collaborate with the team to develop data governance policies and internal processes
  • Develop and maintain digital services data quality KPIs
  • Monitor and recover Azure Data Factory and Databricks jobs

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Azure experience, with a focus on data components such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Data Lake
  • Strong Python and SQL skills for data manipulation
  • Apache Spark and/or Databricks experience
  • Experience in managing end-to-end analytics pipelines, batch and streaming
  • Root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting experience in a production environment
